Here are the course descriptions for the sections :
GST 150. Learning Lab. This course will focus on such topics as G.P.A. management, time management, learning style inventories, evaluation of learning skills and reading skills, staging the writing process, effective and efficient ways to memorize, taking notes, studying for tests, and taking responsibility for one’s own education.
GST 150.003 Learning Lab: ACCESS for ADHD is designed as an effective intervention for college students with diagnosed or suspected ADHD. This course encompasses the active phase of Accessing Campus Connections and Empowering Student Success (ACCESS) which delivers learning and self-management principles and practices drawn from research and applied to areas such as organization, time management, and active learning. Students examine the factors that impact their individual academic experience, select relevant methods for deepening their learning and thinking processes, and develop practical self-regulation and self-advocacy strategies and techniques.

LWC Schedule Selection
During Fall and Spring semesters, you can access the Academic & Writing Support schedule for individual 1-hour appointments with a tutor and you can self-enroll in the CHEM 911 Study Group (for roundtable group sessions and pre-exam study sessions) on Canvas by selecting this link: https://guilfordcollege.
Videoconference Appointments

LWC Writing Drop-in Schedule
Writing Drop-in help is available throughout the semester at various times. The two locations for drop-in are on the 2nd floor in the LWC and on the Lower Level of Hege Academic Commons called the "Common's Grounds." For the full schedule, follow this link.
